Snowflake / Databricks Cloud Architect

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Illinois (USA) Duration: Full Time Opportunity Job Description: • We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Data Architect to design and deliver modern, scalable Data & Analytics architecture across enterprise environments. • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data engineering ecosystems, along with hands-on experience in data governance, data quality, MDM, and advanced data modeling frameworks such as Data Vault and Data Mesh. • This role requires deep architectural expertise, the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, and experience building large-scale enterprise data platforms across Clienture, AWS, or GCP environments. Responsibilities: • Design and deliver enterprise cloud data architectures and transformation roadmaps. • Architect and implement modern data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog), Cortex AI, Fivetran, and dbt. • Lead data platform design, data integration, warehousing, and analytics solutions. • Define and implement data governance, data quality, and MDM frameworks. • Develop data models including dimensional modeling, Data Vault, and Data Mesh/Data Products. • Conduct architecture reviews and collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders. • Support presales and solutioning activities by developing architecture proposals and solution approaches. • Work with senior leadership and data stakeholders to define enterprise Data & Analytics strategies. Experience: • 7+ years of exp. in Cloud Data Architecture and Data & Analytics Solution Architecture. • 2–3+ years of experience delivering cloud-based data projects with Clienture, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms. • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog). • Experience with Cortex AI, Fivetran, dbt, and modern data platforms. • Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, MDM, and data modeling. • Experience designing large-scale enterprise data architectures. • Experience in big data, data warehousing, and analytics projects. • Experience with data virtualization tools. • Experience leading enterprise data transformation initiatives.
