Junior Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities
- Supporting the payroll process for employees (employment contracts and civil law contracts)
- Assisting in payroll calculations and payroll documentation
- Supporting the settlement of working time (overtime, vacations, sick leave)
- Preparing payroll reports and summaries for internal use and clients
- Assisting with preparing declarations and reports for ZUS, Tax Office (US), GUS and PFRON
- Supporting communication with clients regarding payroll services
- Monitoring changes in labor law and social security regulations
- Participating in improving payroll processes within the organization
- Supporting the payroll team in daily operational tasks
Requirements
Must have
- Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll, HR administration, or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of Polish labor law and social security regulations
- Experience working with HR and payroll systems (e.g. CDN Optima or similar is a plus)
- Practical knowledge of MS Excel
- English at minimum B2 level (ability to communicate freely)
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good organizational skills
Nice to have
- University degree or studies in progress (HR, Administration, Economics or similar)
- Interest in developing a career in payroll and HR administration
- Completed courses or training in HR and payroll
