This role focuses on Long-Term Care (LTC) Infection Control, ensuring that facilities adhere to infection prevention protocols and regulations. The RN will collaborate with healthcare providers to promote health and safety measures, monitor infection control programs, and manage any outbreaks or potential risks within long-term care settings. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor infection control protocols for long-term care facilities Perform regular audits of infection control practices and make recommendations for improvements Work with facility staff to ensure adherence to infection prevention guidelines and best practices Investigate infection outbreaks and provide recommendations for containment and prevention Provide training and education to staff on infection control measures, including proper hygiene practices and equipment usage Collaborate with healthcare teams to review patient data and identify infection control needs Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal infection control regulations Maintain accurate records of infection control activities, audits, and outcomes Stay updated on the latest trends, research, and best practices in infection prevention and public health Qualifications: Current RN license in the United States 3+ years of experience in public health or infection control, preferably within long-term care (LTC) settings Strong knowledge of infection control practices, regulatory requirements, and guidelines Ability to work independently and manage infection control programs remotely Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and infection control software Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or related field Experience with remote healthcare management or telehealth Familiarity with public health reporting and data analysis Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus Why Join USA WINZONS?
