UX Writer (Contract | Part-time)

User Research International (URI) is hiring an experienced UX Writer for an enterprise tech client. This is a fully remote, part-time contract (15 hrs/week) for 5 months. You’ll embed with the product team and partner with Design, Research, Product, and Engineering to create clear, user-centered content across mobile and web. What you’ll do • Write UX copy for product experiences (UI text, microcopy, flows, error messages) • Use research insights and customer data to improve clarity and comprehension • Collaborate on feature flows, naming/terminology, and in-product messaging • Coordinate with engineering and localization to ship accurate content on time • Support AI/ML-powered features with content that’s safe, reliable, and easy to understand What we’re looking for • 8+ years in UX writing/content design/content strategy • Excellent writing/editing; able to simplify complex concepts • Strong UX fundamentals (user-centered design, IA) • Comfortable working closely with engineers in a fast-moving environment Salary • Hourly salary $55-$70 User Research values diversity and seeks to offer a safe, respectful, enjoyable workplace for all people.
