Law Clerk, Intern
Job Description:
• Conduct legal research and analysis of property and casualty insurance statutes and regulatory material.
• Maintain and update the existing legal research database.
• Monitor case law and draft summaries of cases that impact AAIS' insurance programs, services, or products.
• Assist Legal team members in preparing, drafting, or revising language in legal documents and through the creation of standardized language.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
• Current enrollment in a Juris Doctor degree program with completion of at least the first year, but not having finished the second year.
• Interest in various areas of law, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and insurance.
• Ability to work in a fully remote working environment free from distractions and access to stable and reliable internet services.
