Commercial Legal Consultant (Remote)

Accountabilities • Draft, negotiate, and implement major partner agreements across all business areas. • Provide strategic and legal advice to internal business clients. • Lead and manage special legal projects from initiation to completion. • Implement best practices for AI integration into your legal work. • Stay updated on relevant industry regulations to provide sound compliance advice. • Draft terms, policies, and disclosures, establishing related processes. • Advise internal clients on executed agreements' application. • Create and update form legal agreements. • Train clients and colleagues on various legal matters. • Anticipate future legal issues and prepare strategic responses. Requirements • J.D. from a top-tier law school with membership in at least one state bar. • Minimum of 6 years of experience at a leading law firm or in-house legal department. • Strong background in internet and e-commerce legal issues, particularly privacy and SaaS. • Proven track record in managing strategic partner negotiations and contract drafting. • Strong negotiation presence and ability to lead teams toward goals. • Sound business judgment with skill in managing multiple priorities. • Ability to deliver clear and concise legal counsel while driving results cross-functionally.
