This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – LPE Team (Remote, U.S.) Redmond WA WA-based client Remote is OK Visa -USE and GC The LPE team is seeking a seasoned engineer with deep Azure expertise to help architect, build, and support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on, senior-level role that blends architecture, implementation, and operational excellence—ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys mentoring others. What You'll Do • Design and implement robust Azure-based infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Lead architecture and design discussions, driving best practices for cloud-native deployments and infrastructure automation. • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep and other tooling to ensure repeatable, secure, and scalable deployments. • Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency, leveraging Azure-native tools and best practices. • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams across orgs to align infrastructure with business needs. • Own the operational health of cloud environments, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Microsoft-aligned tools. • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence. • What We're Looking For • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, and resource management. • Strong proficiency with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration. • Robust knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tooling, especially Azure Bicep. • Proven experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost savings and operational efficiency. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools aligned with Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Bicep, GitHub Actions, Terraform). • Experience with observability and monitoring tools that comply with Microsoft's software policies. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong preference for candidates with: • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent. • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate). • Location • This is a remote position based in the United States.
