Front End Web Developer / Engineer

Title: Front End Web Developer / Engineer Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote) Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension) Implementation Partner: Ark Strategies Inc. End Client: To be disclosed JD: The Front-End Web Developer / Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the user interface for the consolidated web application, which will be built in Angular. Their work will include implementing the user interface for authentication and authorization, search capabilities, and other UI/UX improvements to create a consistent and intuitive user experience. This engagement represents a critical pre-implementation modernization phase that strengthens DOJ's firearms systems interoperability, automation, and long-term scalability. Mandatory Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or engineering field from a recognized college or university. A recognized college or university is defined as an institution of higher learning approved by the Office of Higher Education of any given state or a foreign college or university of comparable standing. OR Eight (8) years of experience related to MQ 2 below (i.e., minimum of four (4) years + four (4) additional qualifying years). • Four (4) years of experience in front end web development tools, techniques and methods for user-facing interfaces. • Two (2) years of relevant experience in developing, modifying or enhancing Java web applications. • Four (4) years of relevant experience in developing, modifying or enhancing Angular web applications.
