Associate In-House Counsel / Full-time Remote position / Florida - International Inc. 5000 company Job Salary: $80-100k / Remote position - Active Florida bar license required. Exciting opportunity with a growing international Inc. 5000 company. We are a white-glove service provider to direct selling businesses, seeking an Associate In-House Counsel to be an integral member of the company, supporting our In-House Counsel and working closely with both internal staff and management to meet core business objectives. The position requires a full-time commitment (40+ hours per week). Office hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Weekends as needed. NO BILLABLE HOUR REQUIREMENT. Qualified candidates must have relevant experience and an educational background that supports the job qualifications and responsibilities. Job Qualifications / Requirements: ● A Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school with a strong academic background. ● Active Florida bar license / Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing. ● Familiarity with risk management compliance laws and regulations, contracts, mergers & acquisitions, trademarks, and litigation is a plus. ● A strong academic background. ● Strong legal research skills. Proficiency in using legal software tools such as LexisNexis. ● Excel at time management with the ability to prioritize various projects. ● Ability to multitask, exercise discretion and judgment, and perform under pressure. ● Frequent communications with internal staff at all levels. ● Ad-hoc projects as assigned. ● Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. ● Excellent organizational skills. ● Superior work ethic. ● Analytical, proactive attitude with the ability to problem-solve. ● Team player mentality. ● Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Flexibility to work extended hours, when necessary. ● Valid state driver’s license. ● Highly organized with strong attention to detail. ● Excellent communication skills / English. ● Multi-lingual is a plus. Preferred Experiential Background: 2+ years of documented experience working in a law firm. In-house and corporate experience is a plus.
