Position Summary
The Clinical Research Scientist for Endocrinology supports the study design, execution, and regulatory readiness of clinical trials and serves as a key partner to Medical Directors in shaping and executing clinical strategy. The Clinical Research Scientist has indication level ownership, operating under clinical leadership guidance. This position reports to the Medical Director for Endocrinology and Oncology.
Position Focus
Clinical development program for Endocrinology.
Key Responsibilities
• Executes clinical strategy through protocols, data interpretation, and scientific documentation.
• Develop and maintain scientific expertise in assigned disease states and indications.
• Partners closely with Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs to support the execution of adult indication clinical programs.
• Reviews clinical data to assess safety trends and support scientific interpretation.
• Lead data interpretation and contribute to regulatory and scientific communications.
• Drive timely execution by generating rapid draft deliverables, incorporating feedback in real time, and adapting outputs efficiently in dynamic, high-demand environments.
• Mentor junior scientists and support team development.
• Partner closely with and reports to the Medical Director for Endocrinology and Oncology.
Qualifications
• Advanced scientific degree, such as a PhD, PharmD, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise and comfort utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity,
analysis, and content development
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including document formatting, data analysis, and executive-level presentations
• Strong ability to conduct comprehensive literature searches, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable outputs
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership, accountability, and sound judgment
• Effective collaborator within cross functional and matrixed team environments
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, with the ability to prioritize, problem solve, and drive clarity
Preferred Experience
• Preferred three or more years of experience including research or development, with strong academic experience considered.
• Advanced disease state knowledge and industry experience in Endocrinology, including familiarity with current standards of care and evolving therapeutic strategies.
Work Environment
• This position may be performed remotely within the United States.
Travel Expectation
• Up to 35 percent.
