Role Overview
The SAP MM/Purchasing Business Systems Analyst is a key role within the ERP Applications function. This position holds prime responsibility for implementing business requirements in SAP S/4HANA MM & Purchasing modules. The role is hands-on and involves ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and support of business processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for SAP MM functionality, integrations, and user education.
• Monitor and maintain MM/Purchasing functionality in SAP S/4HANA.
• Perform system configuration and implement solutions in the MM/Purchasing area of SAP S/4.
• Conduct unit and integration testing.
• Capture, analyze, and validate business requirements related to the MM/Purchasing area.
• Participate in requirements gathering, business analysis, and contribute to design discussions.
• Develop functional specification documents.
• Provide second and third-level support to business users and conduct training.
Required Qualifications
Education: A college or university degree in Computer Science or a related business field is required.
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA MM/Purchasing operation, configuration, and translating business requirements into system functional requirements.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of the integration points between S/4HANA MM/Purchasing and FI/PM/SD modules is necessary. Knowledge of the SAP Data Dictionary in the SAP S/4HANA MM/Purchasing area is also required. Experience with S/4 and PI/PO environments is expected.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP interfacing with external systems, including monitoring and support.
• Project management experience within the SAP MM/Purchasing area.
• SAP code debugging and basic programming skills.
• Familiarity with ASAP and/or SAP Activate implementation methodology.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, accompanied by a 10% bonus potential. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
