Solar Project Coordinator
Job Overview Sunstone is seeking a detail-oriented Solar Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is a vital link between our field specialists, sales representatives, and homeowners, ensuring that solar projects move seamlessly from the initial quote to completion. Responsibilities • Project Quoting: Coordinate and generate quotes for new work. You will work closely with our field specialists to ensure technical accuracy. • Communication Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming communications via phone, text, and email. Manage inquiries from sales representatives and homeowners. • Client Support: Guide homeowners through the administrative process, including signing documentation, applying for financing, and processing deposits. • Workflow Coordination: Convert approved quotes into active jobs and dispatch them to the appropriate installation and repair teams. • Administrative Oversight: Utilize construction management tools to track project milestones and update schedules. Requirements • Permitting and Interconnection: Must have 1+ years of permitting and interconnection experience in the California market. Be familiar with SolarAPP+, domestic content experience is a plus. • Coordination Experience: Proven experience in project coordination, office management, or a similar administrative role. • Technical Aptitude: Comfort learning new software; training will be provided for our specific quoting and project management tools. • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination between vendors, clients, and internal teams. • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
