Geotechnical Engineer - Entry Level

They are seeking an enthusiastic Geotechnical Engineer to join their Geotechnical Design Group, focusing on designing infrastructure and buildings for various municipal and governmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Engineers shall be capable of recommending and analyzing various foundation options for buildings, bridges, retaining walls along with other non-standard structures
• Applicants shall be able to adapt their designs to the needs of both our municipal owner and our design build contractor clients
• Applicants shall be capable of preparing cohesive reports, developing project specific specifications, and geotechnical details
• Applicants will be required to perform field engineering services including borings inspection, deep foundation inspection, and field consultations

Skills

• Must have a bachelor's degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline
• Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT)
• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Master's degree preferred
• Field experience relating to site grading and foundation construction, highly desired
