Business Analyst
CGI is a leading IT and business consulting services firm seeking an entry-level Business Analyst who is passionate about solving challenging client problems. The role involves supporting project management and business process optimization efforts, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and implement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
- Conduct research and analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes
- Support the development and implementation of process optimization strategies
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management
- Participate in meetings and workshops to facilitate project discussions and decision-making
- Provide administrative support to project teams as needed
- Lead client meetings to provide relevant project updates
- Document meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on action items
- Organize and maintain project documentation for easy access and reference
- Assist in agile project management activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
Skills
- An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment as a part of an agile/client facing team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Camtasia video software, Adobe Captivate or equivalent
- Proficient with process mapping software such as Microsoft Visio
- Experience in government functions such as federal acquisition or financial management
