Data Pre-Sales Solutions (Analyst/Associate)

The Sales Development Representative role focuses on identifying and engaging target prospects, qualifying leads, and setting meetings for Sales partners within the private market and investment data space.

Responsibilities

• Execute consultative outbound prospecting across email, phone, and social channels to engage priority accounts and personas
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations; assess fit, urgency, stakeholders, and next steps
• Schedule qualified meetings and provide clear handoff notes (objective, stakeholder context, key findings, and hypotheses)
• Maintain excellent CRM hygiene: accurate activity logging, contact/account updates, and lead dispositioning
• Partner with Account Executives and Marketing to align on target lists, messaging, and campaign follow-up
• Track performance against SDR KPIs and contribute to weekly pipeline and activity reporting

Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, client-facing, or related roles
• Familiarity or strong interest in alternative investments, financial services, data/analytics solutions, or SaaS environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work in a goal- and metrics-driven environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Experience cold calling, prospecting into enterprise accounts, and navigating multi-stakeholder buying groups
• Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, etc)
• A desire to be a phenomenal teammate, able to integrate and build rapport quickly
