About the Role

The GRC and Compliance Engineering team is growing. The team lead currently owns strategy, engineering enablement, and documentation production. This hire exists to remove that bottleneck by executing autonomously on the two fronts that consume the most operational bandwidth.


Responsibilities

  • Join product and engineering ceremonies to surface compliance risks early, before they become technical debt
  • Translate regulatory requirements and controls into acceptance criteria and checklists that dev teams can actually use
  • Serve as the day-to-day bridge between engineering and compliance
  • Maintain and evolve the library of policies, procedures, and controls
  • Collect and organize audit evidence systematically throughout the year
  • Produce clear, self-contained documentation that teammates can follow independently


Requirements

  • Background in a technology or product company; comfortable with software development cycles.
  • Experience with BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Comfortable working in Slack and ClickUp as primary tools
  • Advanced English (spoken and written).


Nice to have

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and investigation
  • Experience writing compliance requirements as part of a product backlog
  • Familiarity with evidence collection and audit preparation workflows
  • These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
