Title: Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Schedule: Part Time

Location: Arlington, VA

Purpose and Scope:

• Will assist our Providers in assessing, treating, and creating care plans
• Act as an educator and consultant to staff nurses and other health care professionals
• Will work alongside a team of 3 Providers and 7 other clinical staff members
• Will work side by side with experienced nurses and will have direct responsibility for patients and care plans
• Working knowledge of wound types, dressings used, and skin grafts/ skin substitutes
• Will gain Case Management experience by coordinating primary care and home health needs

Qualifications:

• RN Licensure with Reciprocity in the state of Virginia
• BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR
• 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred
• Wound Care experience a plus
• Keen attention to detail and effective organizational skills
• Autonomous thinker who also enjoys working in a team setting
• Comfortable working in a prepper, case manager, wrapper staffing model
• Responsible for critical thinking and collaborative input on decisions
