Selected candidates will receive extensive training on essential technical skills that form the foundation of a successful career in network administration. Our comprehensive training program covers:

  • Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, and Linux administration and fundamentals
  • Directory Services: Active Directory management and configuration

Key Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Network Administrator at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our robust technological infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor WAN links for stability and optimal performance, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity across our global operations
  • Infrastructure Surveillance: Monitor routers, switches, and other network devices to identify potential issues before they impact operations
  • IP Address Management: Provision IP addresses and manage LAN/VLAN configurations to support our expanding network infrastructure
  • Alert Management: Monitor alerts and system logs to proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventative health checks on network systems to ensure reliability and performance
  • Incident Response: Participate in incident management processes, responding to and resolving network-related issues efficiently
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements
  • Security Administration: Administer security measures and Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols to protect organizational assets

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. An Associate's degree is a plus, but not mandatory – we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn just as much as formal education
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders. No sponsorship is available
  • Location: Candidates must be able to relocate to or reside in the Hillsboro, OR area. Relocation reimbursement is provided for qualified candidates
  • Technical Interest: Passion for technology and a strong desire to learn technical skills in network administration and IT infrastructure
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience or comfort working directly with customers and clients
  • Remote Learning Capability: Ability to thrive in a remote learning environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline
