Corporate Sales Executive - Chicago, IL (Not Cradle to Grave)
Haulistic is seeking a Corporate Sales Account Executive who wants to do what they do best –
sell
.
This is a true revenue-generation role, not a cradle-to-grave model. Our Corporate Sales team is supported by a dedicated operations and pricing group, allowing you to focus on new business development, strategic account growth, and long-term customer relationships, not daily shipment execution.
In this role, you will sell LTL, Truckload, International Air & Ocean, and Domestic Air services to mid‑market and enterprise customers. You will own your territory, your pipeline, and your results, with leadership support and operational expertise behind you.
This position is ideal for an experienced logistics seller who is competitive, autonomous, and ready to grow their earnings and influence within a sales-driven organization.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
Revenue & Growth
• Achieve annual revenue growth and margin goals aligned with a defined sales plan
• Build and manage a balanced pipeline of new business and existing account growth
• Prospect and cold call within an assigned geographic territory
• Identify multilane, multimode opportunities that produce long-term customer value
Account Development
• Manage and expand an existing book of business through upselling and cross selling
• Leverage industry contacts to uncover unrealized revenue opportunities
• Develop strategic relationships with multi‑level decision makers
Sales Execution
• Prepare and deliver customer facing presentations
• Respond to RFQs and negotiate pricing and contracts effectively
• Quote shipments accurately and competitively using Haulistic’s proprietary TMS
• Maintain consistent, professional communication across the full sales cycle
Collaboration
• Partner with internal operations, pricing, and leadership teams to maximize customer experience
• Participate in deal reviews, strategy discussions, and pipeline forecasts
• Transition accounts smoothly to operations post sale while maintaining customer ownership
What Success Looks Like:
• First 90 days: Onboarded, territory plan established, active prospecting and pipeline development using CRM software
• 6 months: Consistent opportunities in motion and early wins closed
• 12 months: Reliable quota attainment, growing book of repeat business, and visibility as a trusted sales partner
Background & Education:
• 3+ years of inside/outside Truckload and/or LTL sales experience in a tight geographical area
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Additional experience selling International and Air is a plus
• 3PL or brokerage experience is a plus
Skills:
• Must have a proven Sales track record
• Proficient is MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
What We Offer:
• Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000, plus bonus eligibility
• On Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 – $110,000 in Year 1
