Key Responsibilities • Act as a primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment journeys. • Provide education on prescribed therapies, including potential benefits and side effects. • Assist patients in understanding their insurance options and financial assistance resources. • Offer emotional support to patients, helping them cope with the challenges of their diagnoses. • Connect patients to additional support services to address non-medical needs. • Ensure compliance by reporting adverse events and product complaints according to established protocols. • Complete other relevant duties as assigned. Required Skills • Proven clinical nursing experience with a focus on patient education and management. • Strong knowledge of disease states and treatment protocols. • Proficient computer skills and adaptability to evolving tasks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong service orientation. • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining composure. • High emotional intelligence and a commitment to ethical standards. • Initiative in problem-solving and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles. • Active RN license in Indiana or Kentucky. Qualifications • A minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with relevant disease state expertise. • Experience in nurseline triage, utilization management, or case management is advantageous. • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
