This role involves caring for and managing surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period, applying nursing processes, critical thinking, and leadership skills to deliver safe nursing care. Responsibilities • Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period. , • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care. , • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. , • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities. , • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. , • Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing. Requirements • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN is preferred. , • 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room/PACU setting is required. , • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License. , • Current BLS Certification is required.
