About the position The Senior Program Manager for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at the American Heart Association is responsible for developing and implementing a registry aimed at improving diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes for patients in acute care settings. This role involves managing key relationships with healthcare partners, overseeing site participation, and promoting evidence-based metrics for national benchmarking. The position is home-based and offers a full-time, grant-funded opportunity with potential for extension beyond September 30, 2027. Responsibilities ? Develop and implement the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Registry to improve patient outcomes. , ? Identify, build, cultivate, and manage key partner and customer relationships in healthcare sectors. , ? Onboard and manage participating sites, liaising with quality teams and high-level clinicians. , ? Manage and consult on site and system-level data, promoting evidence-based metrics for national benchmarking. , ? Leverage high-level volunteers to develop a research infrastructure for future clinical trials. , ? Identify and develop a pipeline of prospective customers for registry enrollment. , ? Oversee the contracting process and coordinate project goals among hospitals and systems. , ? Facilitate interoperability between source data and the registry as needed. , ? Collaborate with the Volunteer Committee and high-level physicians to achieve program goals. , ? Communicate regularly with project leadership to ensure timely completion of tasks. , ? Analyze and present results of trainings and data to evaluate program needs. , ? Create and disseminate marketing materials as needed. Requirements ? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. , ? 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare or public health-related organizations. , ? Experience in clinical registries, clinical studies, or quality improvement programs. , ? Proven record of program development and management in healthcare projects. , ? Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. , ? Comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). , ? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. , ? Ability to work in a team environment and interact with various stakeholders. , ? Access to reliable transportation. , ? Ability to travel up to 10% locally and for overnight stays. Nice-to-haves ? Knowledge of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or acute care cardiovascular disease. , ? Master's degree preferred. Benefits ?
