Job description: Field Service Engineer - Linear Accelerators (LINAC) - $110,000–$160,000 – CaliforniaA client of nGenium have an exciting opportunity for a talented Field Service Engineer to take charge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of Linear Accelerators.Role Overview:
- Perform servicing, testing, and maintenance of assigned equipment following company guidelines to ensure optimal performance.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Provide remote support to customers and assist Field Service Engineers in resolving service issues promptly.
- Manage spare parts inventory for assigned customers, ensuring they have the necessary components to maintain equipment reliability and safety.
- Strong expertise in electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, including the use of testing and calibration equipment.
- Proven experience working with Linear Accelerators (Linacs).
- Solid technical background in micro-computers and PC-based systems.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in both English and the local language (written and spoken).
