Bay Care Health System is currently seeking a RN to join our Med/Surg Post Surgical unit. Position Description The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting, independently caring for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards. Responsibilities include delegating appropriate patient care activities to other team members, maintaining professional accountability, and ongoing development. Responsibilities • Collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and assist in the plan of care. • Organize, prioritize, and update the plan of care in collaboration with patients and their families. • Identify patients at risk for injury based on diagnosis, medication, procedures, age, etc., and prepare the environment accordingly.
