Senior Scala Developer

Roles and Responsibilities: • Proficient in working within cloud environments and using cloud-native tools. • Demonstrated experience, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance standards. • Familiarity with Databricks technologies, including performance tuning and optimization. • Experience with Unity Catalog for metadata management, access control, and governance. Must-Have Requirements: • 9+ years of hands-on experience with Scala, with a self-assessed proficiency of 8/10 or higher. • Proven expertise in Databricks streaming solutions. • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration. Preferred Experience: • Deep proficiency in Scala + Databricks integration and usage. • Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.). • Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture patterns.
