Sports Journalist

Description: • Write 6 stories per day (primarily news and short features). • Stay on top of U.S. sports news cycles and spot trends before they peak. • Work with editors to pitch ideas, refine angles, and optimize content for SEO and social. • Ensure accuracy, journalistic integrity, and a consistent editorial tone. Requirements: • Strong knowledge and passion for sports (NBA, NFL, WWE, Tennis, F1, Boxing, MMA). • Proven experience in sports writing for a digital publication. • Proven ability to produce multiple stories a day. • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategies. • Experience optimizing content for Facebook and Discover is a big plus! • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
