We’re Hiring: Non-Executive Director (Statutory Role – Fintech Lending | California) Location: California, USA Type: Passive / Compliance-Focused Role (Non-Operational) We are a going to register California-licensed fintech lending company and we are llooking for a non-executive director with relevant financial industry experience to fulfill regulatory and governance requirements. This is a non-operational, statutory position—ideal for professionals seeking a structured, low-commitment role in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: • Be listed as a company director in filings with the California Secretary of State and DFPI • Cooperate with licensing and compliance needs • Sign limited annual reports and compliance documents • Maintain full confidentiality and provide occasional regulatory support • No involvement in operations, financial decision-making, or business strategy Requirements: • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder residing in California • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services (e.g. consumer lending, fintech, credit, or compliance) • No criminal record or regulatory disqualification • Familiarity with state filings and licensing procedures is a plus • Willing to sign a formal Director Agreement (scope, compensation, indemnity clearly outlined) Compensation: • Fixed monthly or annual fee (negotiable) • Full indemnity and legal protection provided • No day-to-day duties or active management responsibility Apply Job!
