About the position Responsibilities • Develop, modify, and maintain assigned programs. • Design and implement modifications to the interrelation of files and records within programs. • Monitor the operation of assigned programs and respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding. • Implement and maintain assigned portions of scientific programming projects. • Test, document work, and write operator instructions for assigned programs. • Analyze present performance of programs and take corrective actions based on user discussions and supervisor consultations. • Assist in the review and analysis of detailed program specifications and program design to meet changes in work processes. • Guide or instruct lower-level programmers and supervise technicians on specific assignments. Requirements • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of programming experience or commensurate experience. • Ability to maintain a public trust clearance. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
