As a School Year Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-dosage tutoring in math and literacy, helping to close learning gaps and empower young scholars to reach their full potential.

As a remote-based position with a competitive salary starting at $30-$40 per hour, you will have the opportunity to work with small groups of students, typically in groups of 1-5, and contribute to a dynamic and innovative team. Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with scholars in grades K-8 to build on existing mathematics and/or literacy skills
• Complete daily records on scholar progress and site needs using provided tools
• Use data to drive instruction and communicate regularly with site coordinators
• Participate in coaching from an instructional coach and use an asset-based approach in working with scholars
• Collaborate with other tutors and site staff to provide optimum learning experiences

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children, preferably in a learning and teaching capacity
• New Jersey Certification of Criminal History (fingerprint form)
• Experience with Google suite functions, including Google Sheets and Forms
• Professional skills, including attention to detail, timely and proactive communication, and job preparedness
• Reliable transportation to travel to sites
