Customer Care Advocate (Hybrid - Arizona)

Aeetna Customer Care Advocate Responsibilities:
As a Customer Care Advocate, you will be the voice of Aeetna, shaping the customer experience through effective phone, online, and written communication. You will:
- Provide compassionate and knowledgeable assistance to members regarding their plans, benefits, and resources.
- Actively listen to member needs, offering guidance and education on Aeetna plans, tools, and resources.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues from members, providers, and other departments, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of member interactions, including contacts with members, providers, and plan supports.
- Guide members through their plan benefits, Aeetna policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Build strong relationships with members by demonstrating empathy and a commitment to their well-being.
- Proactively anticipate member needs and provide relevant information, such as plan details, benefit information, and self-service tools.
- Clearly explain member rights and limitations as outlined in their contracts.
- Serve as a key resource for colleagues and supervisors, providing accurate information and support.
- Contribute to team goals by actively participating in training, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned reports and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and daily timesheet submissions.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to identify areas for improvement.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
This is a second and third shift position. Candidates should be available for either a second or third shift schedule. You will thrive in a customer-facing environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
