Patient Services Specialist - Hybrid for Pulmonary (SW Portland)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Answer phones and manage high call volumes.
• Update patient records as needed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC is necessary.
• Excellent phone skills and customer service abilities are essential.
• Strong attendance and work ethic are required.
• Positive attitude and a desire to be a team player are crucial.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and providers.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with multi-line phone systems.
• Knowledge of insurance and referral processes.
