Experienced Power BI Developer with Sage 100 Expertise for Advanced Financial Reporting - Contract to Hire

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with proven experience working directly with Sage 100 data tables to build complex, formula-based financial reports. This is a critical role for transforming raw accounting data into actionable insights through dynamic dashboards and detailed reporting. Key Responsibilities: Connect Power BI directly to Sage 100 data tables (not via exports or third-party connectors). Design and implement advanced financial reports using DAX and Power BI formulas. Create dashboards that provide deep visibility into financial performance, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and custom KPIs. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports. Collaborate with our finance and IT teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions. Requirements: Proven experience with Sage 100 ERP, especially its database structure and schema. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Ability to write complex formulas and create detailed, multi-layered reports. Experience in financial reporting and understanding of accounting principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: Background in finance or accounting. Experience integrating other data sources into Power BI alongside Sage 100. Familiarity with SQL Server or other database tools used in conjunction with Sage 100. Project Scope: This is a long-term contract with ongoing work based on performance and business needs. We expect a high level of detail and precision in the reporting outputs.
