Remote Speech Therapy in IL

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school in Chicago, IL, to support high school students for a full-semester contract. The role involves providing specialized services primarily to students with Specific Learning Disabilities, serving a caseload of approximately 35 students. Responsibilities include: • Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans • Delivering therapy and intervention tailored to students communication needs • Collaborating with educators and support staff to monitor progress and adjust strategies • Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations • Participating in meetings and professional development activities as needed Qualifications: • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsement for Speech-Language Pathology • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) • Experience working with high school students, specifically those with Specific Learning Disabilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a school setting Position details: • Location: Chicago, IL • Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week • Duration: Immediate start through May 27th • Caseload: Approximately 35 students, primarily high school This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during a critical semester for students with speech and language challenges.
