Account Manager – Accounting Services
Hybrid of Bookkeeping & Advisory | QuickBooks Online Experience Required
We’re looking for more than a bookkeeper ~ Spader Group is seeking a Strategy-Focused Account Manager who can handle the details of accurate bookkeeping and guide clients in understanding and using their numbers to grow profitably. You’ll reconcile accounts, process AP/AR, and prepare reports, but you’ll also spot trends, lead financial reviews, and offer recommendations that move businesses forward.

What you’ll do:
• Maintain precise client records in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare financial reports, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct financial reviews and discuss strategic next steps with clients.
• Perform core bookkeeping tasks including AP/AR, sales tax filings, and monthly reconciliations.
• Lead client financial reviews to explain metrics, helping them understand their numbers and make strategic business decisions.
• Build strong, professional relationships with multiple clients
What We’re Looking For:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong accounting knowledge & GAAP understanding
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and client-focused
• One or more of the following:
• Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or
• Bookkeeping certification + 2+ years relevant experience, or
• 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Based in MN Metro or Western WI (monthly in-person meeting in Hastings, MN)
