Human Services Building (HSB) Main Lobby Receptionist
About the position
Responsibilities
• Greet visitors to the Human Services Building (HSB) and check identification.
• Enter visitor information into the database and issue temporary building ID badges.
• Reconcile and audit keycard reports quarterly.
• Assign billing codes and send to Office of Facilities Management (OFM) for payment processing.
• Intake photo ID paperwork for new employees and ensure proper completion.
• Take pictures for photo ID badges and send badge paperwork through Tririga to DAS keycard shop.
• Email employees when their new badge is ready for pickup from the lobby.
• File and maintain paperwork for new and deleted keycards.
• Provide directions to appropriate floor reception and/or conference rooms.
• Assist the public, local governments, contractors, and others seeking information about DHS/OHA and other State Departments.
• Provide information on rules, policies, and procedures concerning agency programs and community resources.
• Monitor building access by checking badges to ensure compliance.
Requirements
• Two years of experience in customer service.
• One year of experience explaining rules, regulations, and policies and handling unique situations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience in providing customer service.
• Experience with written and verbal communication.
• Time management experience.
