Job Summary Please be advised! This is an IN PERSON - IN OFFICE position... MUST have proven real world experience in Medical Transcription. Only applicmts with experience will be considered. Full time! You must be able to transcribe from handwritten notes. We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our Multi clinic Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing medical reports dictated by healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality AND be able to fulfill daily quota. Duties - Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and patient histories - Edit transcribed documents for grammar and clarity - Ensure all transcribed documents are accurate and comply with medical terminology standards - Maintain patient confidentiality and data security - Coordinate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictation as needed Experience - Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Familiarity with medical office procedures - Excellent typing skills to transcribe efficiently and accurately - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Previous experience in medical transcription is a plus · Physical Therapy experience preferred. · Must be able to work in person at our Livonia location Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • No weekends Application Question(s): • Can you transcribe from handwritten notes? • Are you looking for FULL TIME/IN PERSON work? • Do you have MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION experience?
