About the Role

  • MDM and Data Governance: Implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization, and maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance, and staying at the forefront of cloud technology advancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning them with our data strategy, and ensuring we're always delivering value to our business.
  • Advanced Technologies: Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrate them with cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into actionable insights, and ensuring we're always communicating effectively across the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in data architecture and engineering, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills. Here are the essential qualifications and requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required, providing a solid foundation in the principles and practices of data engineering.
  • Experience: A minimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering is necessary, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, demonstrating your ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation is essential, showcasing your expertise in designing and developing data solutions that drive business value.
