About the Role

As a Sensing Technology Engineer at Apple, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and launching next-generation sensing technologies. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to life, enabling them to interact with users and the environment in new and exciting ways. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate system-level prototypes, integrating sensors and systems to deliver innovative sensing solutions.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level troubleshooting, utilizing analog circuit simulations and data analysis.
• Create schematic designs for boards and flexible assemblies, as well as future generation scoping and proof-of-concept investigations.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and System Engineering, to deliver effective sensing solutions.
• Present to executive management on key features and issues, contributing technical expertise to strategic decision-making regarding technology and investments.
• Manage multi-functional technical development of sensors, ensuring timely and effective delivery of projects.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• A strong background in analog and mixed-signal system-level circuit design.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong leadership and management competencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sensor and systems integration.
