Description Join the National Security Sector at Leidos as an Entry Level Software Engineer! This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your skills in support of the Fires Division's Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) Maintenance and Sustainment mission. We are a dynamic team providing essential engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division located in Aberdeen, MD, while operating from our office in Lawton, Oklahoma. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in developing capabilities and offering technical expertise in Mission Command, Fires, and C2 Maneuver systems. You will provide vital support for the Family of US Army's FIRES Systems, which includes AFATDS, AN/TQP-53, and LCMR Q49A. Primary Responsibilities: • Help design, develop, and maintain software for various engineering applications. • Collaborate with analysts to gather and understand analytic or interface requirements. • Assist in creating tools and interfaces. • Participate in the design, development, and testing of systems-level software, network distribution applications, and compilers. • Support the establishment of specifications and analyze software requirements. • Contribute to the design of embedded systems software. • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions accordingly. Basic Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline with less than 2 years of relevant software development experience. • US Citizenship with an active and current DoD Secret clearance. • CND, GISF, or SSCP certification may substitute for the degree.
