We are committed to helping students achieve success in school and beyond, and we are eager to continue to build our teams with talented and caring individuals like you. **The Opportunity** As a part-time tutor with Huntington Learning Center, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a variety of subject areas, including: * Reading Comprehension * Math (all levels, from foundational/elementary school to college-level math) * Algebra/Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus * Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, all levels, including AP) * US History and World History (all levels, including AP) * English * Foreign Languages * Writing * Other subject areas (Economics, Psychology, College Exam Prep, etc.) You will work with students in a one-to-one setting or in small groups of up to four, providing personalized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals. You will not be required to write lesson plans or develop curriculum, and you will not be responsible for parent-teacher conferences. Instead, you will have the opportunity to focus on what you do best – teaching and mentoring students. **Requirements** To be considered for this position, you must have a 4-year degree and be able to work in person. While certification or licensure is a plus, it is not required. We welcome experienced teachers, current and retired, as well as professionals with expertise in subject areas.
