Remote Supervising Teacher- K-8 (2024-25 School Year)

About the position Responsibilities • Collaborate with learning coaches and support staff to prepare learning objectives and assess academic growth. • Provide live, synchronous instructional sessions using research-based strategies. • Participate in local and state assessment requirements and procedures. • Maintain accurate records of attendance, coursework, and scholar progress using the student information system. • Manage educational support funds for instructional materials and services. • Conduct screenings and data collection to personalize instructional support for scholars. • Implement IEP and 504 accommodations and utilize appropriate EL strategies. • Prepare for and lead SST meetings regarding scholars' progress. Requirements • Bachelor's degree and valid California Teaching Credential with English Language Learner Authorization. • 1+ years of verified teaching experience in a public school setting. • Experience with blended, online, personalized, and/or virtual learning schools preferred. • Strong knowledge of educational best practices and California standards curriculum. • Proficient in digital engagement tools including Google Suite and Microsoft. Nice-to-haves • Experience with social media literacy and online learning platforms. • Knowledge of recent research in education.
