Dispensing Pharmacy Technician

Location: AON Pharmacy Pay Range: $18.93 - $31.56 RESPONSIBILITIES Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Dispensing Operations Pharmacist, will be responsible for the dispensing of oral oncology medications for the patients of the Company. Will be responsible for all dispensing functions in the Pharmacy including but not limited to accurately counting and filling oral oncology medications, ordering/ stocking of medications and supplies, and packing/shipping of medications. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent 2. Certifications/Licenses: • Current, unrestricted Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) required (FL) 3. Previous Experience (including minimum years of experience): • Five years’ experience in specialty, retail, or hospital pharmacy as a pharmacy technician preferred 4. Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment. • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters. • Communication Skills: Good command of the English language. Second language is an asset but not required. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback. • Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus.
