Qualifications* you will bring to the table: • Master's degree in Historic Preservation rom an ABET-accredited school. • Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design • 8-10 years’ experience in historic preservation and architecture or interior design. • At least two years of full-time experience in research, writing, or teaching in American architectural history or restoration architecture with an academic institution, historical organization or agency, museum, or other professional institution • Did you know that some people hold back on applying to jobs if they don’t meet 100% of the listed requirements? As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will*… • Architectural Historian • Support Manager of Historic Preservation in preparing Proposals, writing reports, and research • Be comfortable collaborating in all aspects of architectural design • Provide an out-of-this-world experience for our clients that cannot be replicated anywhere else • Have knowledge of construction documents, specifications, shop-drawings and submittal review • Have relevant experience in construction observation and construction administration • Have excellent design skills and strong technical proficiency including experience in working in the following platforms: SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite • Have strong Revit skills • The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach. On occasion, individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys. Your pay The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets. • Expected Range*: $70,000 to $96,000 • The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus • The actual salary offered for the role will be determined based on various factors including but not limited to; years of experience, licensure status, location, level of job-related knowledge, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
