[Remote] Part-Time QA Developer (EST / NYC Preferred)

NextGen Coding Company is seeking a detail-oriented QA Developer to ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of our software projects. This role emphasizes extremely high accuracy and quick turnaround times, with responsibilities including designing test plans and performing various types of testing across applications. Responsibilities • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to validate software quality. • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across full-stack applications. • Test APIs, data flows, and integrations to ensure seamless system performance. • Validate accuracy and stability in projects spanning cloud platforms, data engineering, and advanced technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, and gaming applications. • Document and track defects, collaborating with engineers to resolve issues efficiently. • Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement in the development lifecycle. Skills • Detail-oriented QA Developer to ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of software projects. • Available during Eastern Time hours. • Extremely high accuracy and quick turnaround times. • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to validate software quality. • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across full-stack applications. • Test APIs, data flows, and integrations to ensure seamless system performance. • Validate accuracy and stability in projects spanning cloud platforms, data engineering, and advanced technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, and gaming applications. • Document and track defects, collaborating with engineers to resolve issues efficiently. • Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement in the development lifecycle. • Experience in software quality assurance or QA engineering. • Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar). • Knowledge of RESTful API testing and debugging tools (e.g., Postman). • Exposure to full-stack web development, data engineering, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Interest in emerging technologies like AI/ML, blockchain, computer vision, or game development. • Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to deliver accurate results under deadlines. • U.S.-based, available during EST hours (NYC candidates preferred).
