As a Tier 1 support specialist, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, emails, and voice mails, providing clear and concise communications, and troubleshooting technical issues. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences, build strong relationships, and identify opportunities for escalation to our Tier 2 team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Answer customer questions and requests for supplies, service, and troubleshoot 1st-level technical issues via inbound calls and/or voice mails, emails, and alerts. * Provide clear and concise communications and follow up with customers on company schedules, requested lead, and delivery times. * Work with the Tier 2 team to seamlessly pass escalated customer technical issues quickly and efficiently. * Track, route, and escalate unresolved issues to management. * Remain current on constant process updates and technology used within the company. * Perform duties with awareness and in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. * Perform other duties as directed by management. **Essential Qualifications:** * High School Diploma * Reliable internet connection (must have a stable and fast internet connection to perform job duties) * Experience in a call center environment (a plus, but not required) * Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Order processing systems, and Contact Management systems * Ability to empathize with customers and provide excellent customer service * Ability to multi-task (i.e., talking and typing simultaneously) in a fast-paced environment * Possess organizational and time management skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet skills * Demonstrate professional communication skills with a high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion * Ability to navigate through multiple systems **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience in a customer-facing role * Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles * Experience with order processing systems and contact management systems * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour * Flexible part-time schedule (up to 30 hours per week) * Opportunity to work from home and enjoy a better work-life balance * Holiday pay based on hours worked per day * Professional development opportunities and training to enhance your skills and knowledge * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of dedicated professionals **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
