Polisher
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Description:
As a member of the polish team, an individual is tasked with performing polish work on exterior vehicle parts or components, as well as complete finished vehicles.
Essential Job Functions:
• Inspect vehicle or parts after painting and able to spot defects such as dirt nibs, runs and fisheyes or craters.
• Sand down defects using proper tools and sandpaper to remove the defects and polishing those areas back to proper standards using polisher and do so without burning through the paint.
• Reinspect vehicles or parts to ensure no defects or scratches or blemishes remain.
Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience working in automotive polishing
Requires the following skills:
• Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
• High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to assist peers, teach and help out as well as exude flexibility
