Contract - Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers

Project length : ~3–4 weeks Commitment : ≥ 10 hrs / week Compensation : $25 – $60 per hour Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates About the project Fixpoint is hiring Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers. You’re a good fit if you’ve managed agricultural operations: • in a farm • in a ranch • in a greenhouse • in a vineyard or have similar experience. Must-have qualifications • Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Hunting. • Native-level English skills • U.S. residency • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). Nice-to-haves • Experience with farm management software • Knowledge of sustainable farming practices Compensation & logistics • Hourly pay: $25 – $60, commensurate with experience and project fit. • Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours. • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will. • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
