Revenue Cycle Data Entry Specialist

General Description of the Job The Data Entry Specialist position provides data entry support for BHRCMS’s professional behavioral health revenue cycle operations. Data entry will primarily be in Qualifact’s CareLogic, Netsmart’s myEvolv or Meditech’s EHR system. Duties and Responsibilities of this Level Data Entry data as assigned. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Required Qualifications at this Level Education: High School diploma or GED is required Experience: Minimum of one year data entry experience Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on time, and/or high quality results preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Review and analyze credit balances on claims with complicated scenarios and suggest claim actions to be taken. • Perform adjustments for claims with credit balances. • Review denials for timely filing and enter appropriate reasons to be submitted for write off approval. • Perform claim actions for claims approved for write off. • Perform claim actions specially in bulk as identified by claims specialists. • Perform claim actions on secondary claims satisfied by primary payers. • Perform Quality Assurance tasks on your own work and reporting. • Experience with outpatient Behavioral Health insurance coverage is vital. • Experience working with Google Sheets, Excel Spreadsheets, drafting emails is vital. • Experience working with CareLogic EHR is essential. • Experience working remotely and communicating through email and Google Chat is important. • Experience with Massachusetts Medicaid products is important.
