Patient Monitor/Video Monitoring Technician - (30 Hours/Week)
About the position Responsibilities • Provide continuous monitoring, documentation, and tracking of assigned patients using Video Monitoring software. • Follow department protocols for patients at risk of causing harm to themselves or others. • Verbally redirect patients and alert nursing staff as necessary. • Activate alarms and use overhead paging when required. • Work under the direction of lead staff and/or management to ensure a safe environment. Requirements • Must be 18 years of age. • Demonstrated proficiency with verbal communication skills and prioritizing simultaneous situations. • Demonstrated proficiency with the bolthires Office Suite. • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position. Nice-to-haves • Experience providing direct patient care in a hospital setting. • Experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA). • Minimum of 3 months of medical/hospital background experience.
