Medical Scriber
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, excellent typing skills, and a passion for helping improve clinical workflow.
Responsibilities
• Accurately document patient visits, including history, physical exams, lab results, and treatment plans, into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Ensure all medical documentation is complete, organized, and follows regulatory and compliance standards.
• Assist healthcare providers with clerical tasks, such as entering prescriptions, updating patient information, and preparing referral letters.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
Qualifications
• Previous experience with medical records or in a healthcare administrative role (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare privacy laws.
• Ability to work independently from home with minimal supervision.
• Medical Degree
